I am thoroughly disgusted by my lack of updates.

I do have things to talk about and photos of my students to post up, but i am so bogged down by admin and my teaching. I can hardly find time to do anything nowadays!

Thank God my holidays begin on the 13th. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I am very excited about my up and coming Yoga class. I am finally doing some exercise. I think my thighs will thank me for it. That is if yoga will ever work.

P.S: I already have the encounter of some random ugly student calling me a bitch on her blog. Just because I asked her to stop talking in class. Hahaha, surprisingly, i am taking it pretty ok! whatever!

Once again, i am confused!

On Friday when I checked my email, I discovered something totally miraculous!

The ah-beng wrote me an apology letter! What are the chances of that… haha. Besides crediting it to the powers that be, I am really shocked. It is not because I feel like he will not repent, but I just didn’t expect it to come on the same day when he looked like he was gonna assasinate me. How does he have such a short reaction time? I even had a bad dream about him, that was how bad it went down. But I’m glad the mini storm in my teacup is over.

My curtains have a crazy story of their own. Initially, when I bought my curtains, I bought one packet of it, thinking that it contains a set of 2 panels. When I return, I discovered that there was only 1 inside! Feeling dumb, I just let it be, thinking that one day i will buy the other one. That one day never came, cos I was so busy. When I returned to the store, that particular design was out. So I thought, “why not just buy a new set? That old one just makes me feel stupid.”

Learning from my old mistake, I took 2 panels this time. Upon removing them from their packaging, I discovered something strange.

I bought 2 panels. OF DIFFERENT PRINTS. A totally -fuck- moment. My family and relatives had a good laugh at my stupidity. And I have to spend more money to buy ANOTHER panel because they said that I have already opened it and they don’t entertain exchanges. I totally hail from the pinnacle of stupidity. ARGH!

Long weekends draw out the brat in me.

leave a comment »

The spoiled brat that shops and sleeps and wastes time like crazy, that is me.

The brat that leaves work till the eleventh hour (god, i am even past that), is me as well!

But the little brat in us loves a long weekend… when we can laze about all we want and forget about absolutely anything meaningful at all. Like our grey matter just turned pink. with joy, and confetti!!! I love weekends.

and now, we all mourn. sigh.

——————————————–

Anyway, part of my joy came from a long shopping trip with my mum. I bought her a pair of great working shoes that she loved at first sight. That has definitely solved my mother’s day question of :”what to buy??!” Mothers make good shopping partners, esp when its someone like my mum. On the way home, I did something very irritating to my 7 year old cousin, Celeste. I sent her this:

Recipient: Celeste

Subject: Your Boyfriend.

Hahahaha. She wasn’t amused! She was quite mad actually ahahhaa. Because the night before when she came by my place, I switched her handphone wallpaper. It was initially some cute kittens. That was before I changed it to a black and white picture of a random woman on Lianhe Wanbao. When she opened her clamshell phone, she jumped in shock! She told us she thought her phone was haunted. AHHAHAHHAHA. My mum , auntie and me laughed till we had stitches man…

Monday is lurking behind that door.

leave a comment »

Yup yup, the unforgiving monday is making its grand entrance with spiked boots and a club to knock our senses out.

and I haven’t finished my work hahaha. So much for thinking that I will make full use of my long weekend, but well… as a good friend has said before, nothing in the world would have been done if not for the last minute. and I still have half a day, so to speak… Anyway, I spoke like the old woman who lives in a shoe in my last post, it is my PMS speaking i think. I actually had a good friday night after that. ahha, what the hell.

Here’s something a friend told me, it’s pretty silly though, from primary school students:

After I give out your compositions to you, please do your corrections on another page and hand it in to me

Teacher, how to do corrections?

Just copy it out, rewrite the wrong parts with the correct ones in another colour. For example if you spelled a word wrongly, rewrite it this time with a green pen instead, so I will know.

Teacher, can use green pen ah? Then can I use red pen?

Yes you can.

Then can I use purple pen?

Yes you can use anything you like as long as its not the usual one you use.

Then can I use glue pen? (fishes out UHU glue)

Haha, I can’t decide if its more annoying or amusing… But my friend was pretty irritated. Have a good week ahead everyone, and let’s start to look forward to the next weekend. Oh, my actual class starts this coming Wednesday! Looking forward! :)
